Dhanush announced two Telugu films earlier this year. A film with director Sekhar Kammula is one of them. Sonali Narang presents the untitled film, which was officially launched today with a pooja ceremony. It will be the first pan-Indian project for Sekhar Kammula. The director is known for making thoughtful films and has directed a number of blockbusters.
The film will be shot and released in Telugu, Tamil, and Hindi simultaneously. It is being bankrolled by Sree Venkateswara Cinemas LLP and Amigos Creations Pvt Ltd.
The team is in discussions with some very big names from various languages, as well as a top-notch technical team, which will be announced very soon.
Dhanush, on the other hand, will release his first Telugu film, Sir, in February 2023.
