By evening, Dhanush’s fans hit back and started trending various hashtags against Nayanthara. The hashtag #CharacterlessLadyNAYANTHARA topped the trending topic lists.
The whole controversy started with Nayanthara posting a letter against Dhanush.

Some defended Nayanthara while others supported Dhanush in this controversy. Nayanthara alleged that Dhanush holds grudges against her and her husband; hence, he created the hurdles in getting the necessary permissions for her Netflix documentary, Beyond the Fairy Tale.
She revealed that Dhanush demanded Rs 10 crore for the use of a 3-second clip from the Behind the Scenes of “Naanum Rowdy Thaan.” Vignesh Shivan directed the film starring Nayanthara, which Dhanush produced.
Now, Dhanush’s fans are digging up old videos of Nayanthara and listing out her various unprofessional acts.
