Dhanush’s Sir to get postponed?

Telugu producers have begun producing films with Tamil film industry superstars in order to expand their business and production capabilities. Dil Raju is producing ‘Varisu’/’Varasudu,’ directed by Vamshi Paidipally, with superstar Vijay.

Suneil Narang and Siva Kartikeyan collaborated on the production of ‘Prince.’ Similarly, Naga Vamsi of Sithara Entertainments is producing ‘Sir,’ which stars Dhanush.

‘Prince,’ which opens tomorrow, has failed to generate any buzz. In addition, it is up against three other films. A good opening would be a miracle for this film.

Given the poor reception for this bilingual, producer Naga Vamsi has decided to postpone the release of ‘Sir,’ as other Telugu films will compete on the same day.

Venky Atluri is directing Dhanush’s film. The first look and teasers of ‘Sir’ had already been released. The makers announced December 2nd as its release date.

The latest we hear that the makers are looking for a better date now to aviod competition with ‘Sir’. Dhanush’s recent release ‘Nene Vasthunna’ (Naane Varuven) tanked at the box office.
