Samantha Ruth Prabhu has landed in controversy once again, for endorsing a health supplement that some medical professionals are calling misleading and unsafe.
Since her diagnosis and recovery from myositis, Samantha has been actively engaging in health-related discussions, often sharing wellness tips and hosting podcasts featuring healthcare professionals. However, she has also used her platform, particularly Instagram, to promote certain health products she refers to as alternative medicine.
Recently, Samantha endorsed an NMN-based supplement, claiming it helps improve energy levels and focus with age. Her post quickly drew criticism, with several doctors accusing her of spreading misinformation and promoting pseudoscience.
One doctor even labeled her a “snake-oil saleswoman,” warning the public to be cautious of celebrities who endorse unproven products for money.
Samantha, who is currently producing a Telugu film, has also been in the news for her rumored relationship with director Raj Nidimoru. Now, her involvement in supplement promotion has sparked fresh backlash, raising questions about celebrity responsibility in health advocacy.
