Nag Ashwin shares family picture amid Kalki 2 preparations

Director Nag Ashwin has been making headlines in recent weeks. Earlier this month, he actively promoted “Sing Geetham,” a film directed by veteran filmmaker Singeetham Srinivasa Rao and produced by Nag Ashwin.

The filmmaker is also celebrating two years of “Kalki 2898 AD,” which was released on June 27, 2024, and went on to become one of the biggest blockbusters in Indian cinema.

Marking the occasion, Nag Ashwin shared a cheerful family photograph on social media. The picture appears to have been taken in the garden area of his farmhouse and features his wife, producer Priyanka C. Dutt, their son, and their pet dog. Nag Ashwin is seen posing alongside them, capturing a warm family moment.

The photo quickly attracted attention from fans, who appreciated seeing a rare glimpse of the director’s personal life.

On the professional front, Nag Ashwin has already begun preparations for “Kalki 2,” the much-awaited sequel to “Kalki 2898 AD.” In a recent interview, he revealed that main shooting for the sequel is expected to commence in September and continue for over a year.

The sequel will feature Prabhas, Kamal Haasan, and Amitabh Bachchan in key roles. There is also speculation that Sai Pallavi may join the cast, although the makers are yet to make an official announcement.
