Legendary actor Ghattamaneni Krishna, who was admitted to Hyderabad’s Continental Hospital Monday, suffered cardiac arrest in the wee hours. His condition is critical, the doctors said.
“He was brought to our hospital at 1.05 AM in cardiac arrest. The cardiologists immediately performed CPR and resuscitated him within 20 minutes. However, his condition remains critical and has been put on a ventilator. A team of specialist doctors is closely watching his condition,” Continental Hospital Managing Director Guru N. Reddy told the media.
Earlier in the day, the actor’s team brushed it off as a routine checkup. His son Mahesh Babu and other family members are at the hospital.
