“Double iSmart,” starring Ram Pothineni, was recently in the news due to rumoured differences between the hero and director Puri Jagannadh. According to some media outlets, Ram Pothineni was particular about his remuneration and stalled the shooting.
But the truth was that the film’s production was halted for nearly four months due to financial issues and a sudden drop in business deals caused by the weak Hindi market.
Finally, the team resolved all issues and is ready to start shooting. The film returns to the sets in Mumbai tomorrow.
“Double iSmart” is the sequel to the blockbuster ‘iSmart Shankar’ and features Sanjay Dutt in a key role. Ram Pothineni will be seen in a different avatar in the action drama. Charmme and Puri Jagannadh are the film’s producers.
