Doubts over Pushpa 2’s release as other films fix Dec 6 date

Undoubtedly, director Sukumar and ‘Icon Star’ Allu Arjun are exerting extra effort to achieve the deadline for the release of “Pushpa 2”. The film’s shooting is ongoing. Assuming Sukumar and Allu Arjun minimize their future delays, they have the potential to efficiently finish the remaining part of the film and have it ready for theatrical release in December 2024.

However, it is well known that Sukumar is a perfectionist. He is uncompromising and chooses to reshoot if he is dissatisfied with the quality upon viewing the final cut. Consequently, there is a strong belief among many that the film will not meet its scheduled release date of December 6th and will be postponed once more.

Many films are choosing to announce their release dates as December 6th for this reason. The film “Brahma Anandam” features veteran comedian Brahmanandam and his son Raja Goutham in the lead roles. The makers of the film have recently stated that it would be released on December 6th.

Furthermore, the highly anticipated Hindi film “Chhava” featuring Vicky Kaushal and Rashmika Mandanna has recently revealed its release date as December 6th during the launching of its teaser. Rashmika Mandanna is the lead actress in both “Chhava” and “Pushpa 2”. Consequently, many hold the belief that the film featuring Allu Arjun will undoubtedly be delayed once again.

Huge burden on “Pushpa 2”

“Pushpa 2” is not only much anticipated across India, but it has also achieved significant non-theatrical revenue, setting a new record. It successfully concluded an over-the-top (OTT) agreement for hundreds of crores. Considering this factor, the makers are unwilling to make any concessions in order to fulfill the high expectations.
