Malayalam superstar Dulquer Salmaan has earned a steady following in the Telugu states with films like ‘Mahanati’, ‘OK Bangaram’ and ‘Kanulu Kanulanu Dochayante’.
He is now doing a straight Telugu film as the lead hero in the direction of Hanu Raghavapudi. Touted to be a period romantic drama, Dulquer Salmaan plays a soldier in the film. It has been titled ‘Seetha Ramam’. On the auspicious occasion of Sri Rama Navami, the makers have revealed the title.
Mrunalini Thakur is Dulquer Salmaan’s love interest, while Rashmika Mandanna plays an important role.
The makers also unveiled a video, and it begins with the voiceover of Sumanth, who plays a vital role in the movie.
Seetha Ramam is being made simultaneously in Telugu, Tamil, and Malayalam languages. Ashwini Dutt and Priyanka Dutt under Swapna Cinema are bankrolling it.
