What ‘Baahubali’ did to Prabhas, ‘Pushpa’ has done to Allu Arjun. The film’s stupendous success in the North Indian market has helped Allu Arjun gain the Pan-Indian star image.
Three months after the release of ‘Pushpa’, the makers have rearranged the remunerations for hero Allu Arjun and director Sukumar for the second part. This is the reason why the film is getting delayed in hitting the floors. The script has also been altered further for a wider appeal.
Sources inform us that Allu Arjun has demanded the Hindi rights as his remuneration for ‘Pushpa 2’. His father Allu Aravind will handle the business of Hindi on his own, and that will be Allu Arjun’s remuneration. Thus, he will get a much bigger amount than the regular paycheck.
Allu Arjun reportedly took home Rs 45 crore remuneration for the first part.
Subsequently, the producers have also agreed to hike the remuneration of Sukumar for the second part. More on that in our next story.
‘Pushpa 2’ will hit the floors during this summer holiday period.
Rashmika and other actors from the first part will join the cast. Devi Sri Prasad is yet to compose the songs for ‘Pushpa The Rule’. His music was the key to the film’s massive success in Hindi.
