Director Sukumar is one of the highest-paid directors in the South Indian film industry. The filmmaker is also getting big money by co-producing or backing small movies that are directed by his disciples. Buzz is that Sukumar received about Rs 10 crore from ‘Uppena’ alone.
With big money coming in now, his wife Thabitha Sukumar has decided to manage all his business affairs henceforth. She has already taken over. Earlier, Sukumar’s long-time friend and manager Prasad used to manger everything. After his demise last year, one of Sukumar’s relatives had handled but they reportedly found he had misused money.
Hence, Sukumar’s wife Thabitha Sukumar
is now managing everything. Tollywood has several star wives managing the business and financial matters of their husbands. Thabitha has also added as ‘entrepreneur’ to her bio in social media handles.
Sukumar’s production house Sukumar Writings is now co-producing many movies that include Nikhil starrer ’18 Pages’ and Buchi Babu’s next.
He is currently directing Allu Arjun starrer ‘Pushpa’.
