Akkineni Nagarjuna and Tabu are one of the most celebrated on-screen pairs in Telugu cinema. Their chemistry in “Ninne Pelladutha” (1996) remains iconic, and the duo continues to enjoy a massive fan following even decades later. Though both are in the later stages of their careers, they remain as charismatic and fit as ever, with Tabu excelling in powerful character roles and Nagarjuna exploring diverse shades, including antagonistic and mature leads.
Now, after years, Nagarjuna and Tabu are reuniting for a special project.
Our exclusive information reveals that Tabu has signed on for Nagarjuna’s milestone 100th film, tentatively considered as #King100. The shooting is currently underway. While she won’t be playing Nagarjuna’s romantic interest, Tabu will appear in a significant role pivotal to the film’s narrative.
The film is directed by R. Karthik, a Tamil filmmaker who previously directed one film, and is being produced by Nagarjuna himself. Apart from Tabu, the project also features two leading ladies, making it one of the most anticipated Telugu films in the making.

Interestingly, Tabu is also part of Puri Jagannadh’s upcoming bilingual starring Vijay Sethupathi, currently referred to as #PuriSethupathi, marking an exciting phase in her South Indian comeback.
