Finally, ‘Guntur Kaaram’ gets back to the sets

The shooting of Mahesh Babu and Trivikram’s ‘Guntur Kaaram’ has been delayed due to numerous issues. On April 6th, the film’s last schedule was wrapped. The shooting was halted for nearly three months due to disagreements between Trivikram and Mahesh Babu on certain issues.

Meanwhile, Pooja Hegde, who was supposed to play the main heroine, has been dropped from the project. Sreeleela stepped in to take her place.

After resolving all issues, the film’s shooting resumed today in Hyderabad. Director Trivikram hopes to complete the filming as soon as possible. Their deadline is November, as Mahesh Babu needs to start work on Rajamouli’s film by the end of the year.

‘Guntur Kaaram’ is a village drama set in the Guntur region. Mahesh Babu takes on a new role. Haarika Haasine Creations is bankrolling the film. Thaman is in charge of the music.
