“Chandramukhi,” starring Rajinikanth, Nayanthara, and Jyothika, was a smash hit. A sequel is being made nearly 18 years later, with Raghava Lawrence in the lead role. P Vasu, the original filmmaker of 2005 ‘Chanramukhi’, is directing this sequel as well and which also has a new Chandramukhi. Jyothika played Chandramukhi in the first film, and Kangana Ranaut takes over in this sequel.
