Nani has been experimenting with his looks and stories. After playing two varied roles – a film director and a social reformer – in ‘Shyam Singha Roy’, Nani will next be seen as a traditional Brahmin youngster in ‘Ante Sundaraniki’.

Now, he has turned into a rugged avatar. He plays a small-town boy of Singareni mines region in Telangana in recently launched ‘Dasara’. Being directed by newcomer Srikanth Odela, ‘Dasara’ is in progress.

On Sunday, the makers unveiled the first look of Nani from the film. A video glimpse was also unveiled. Nani is seen wearing a lungi and red shirt, a typical attire of miners.

Said to be a tale of love and friendship, the film has Keerthy Suresh as the female lead. Malayalam actor Roshan Mathew is being considered for an important role.

Being produced by Sudhakar Cherukuri, the film has Santosh Narayan’s music. It is being produced as a Pan-Indian movie.
