Director Sudheer Varma gained fame with “Swamy Raa Raa,” starring Nikhil Siddhartha. Following this solo hit, he went on to direct nearly six more films. While “Keshava” performed averagely at the box office, all the other movies he directed were a complete failure including Naga Chaitanya’s “Dochey”.
His flop streak began with Sharwanand starrer “Ranarangam”. It was a colossal failure. Then he directed “Ravanasura” with Ravi Teja, and the film met with the same result. Subsequently, he helmed the film “Saakini Daakini” starring Nivetha Thomas and Regina Cassandra, which also failed to find success in theaters.
Now, he has released a new movie, “Appudo Ippudo Eppodo,” which stars Nikhil Siddhartha. The film received bad reviews, and critics termed it a bore-fest. His directorial abilities came in sharp criticism.
The film took almost zero openings and was declared a flop. This is the fourth flop in a row for this director.
