Director Shankar finally opened up about the debacle of “Indian 2” (“Bharateeyudu 2”), saying that he didn’t expect such backlash for the film. He is, however, expressing confidence that he will gain the appreciation and support from audiences with “Game Changer,” which is due for release next month.
Shankar said the idea behind “Indian 2” was solid. He also mentioned that he didn’t drop the idea of releasing “Indian 3.”. “It will arrive in theaters only,” he added, stressing that he will start working on it after the release of “Game Changer.”
“Game Changer” features Ram Charan as the hero. The film will arrive in theaters on January 10, 2025. Karthik Subbaraj wrote the film’s story, but Shankar adapted it in his style.
Director Shankar disclosed the rationale for casting Ram haran as the hero and commended his extraordinary talent as an actor.
“Dil Raju believed it would be good for Ram Charan to act in this. I found it suitable as well. Several of my stories have universal themes applicable to any hero,” Shankar remarked, “The journey with Ram Charan in this film was memorable.”
