Vishwak Sen’s “Gangs of Godavari” was supposed to be released by now, but the production team changed the date for a variety of reasons. As this was postponed indefinitely, Vishak Sen released another film “Gaami” in theaters, which was an average grosser.
Now, the makers of “Gangs of Godavari” have announced a new release date after information about the elections in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana became available. The film will open in theaters on May 17th.

The action drama “Gangs of Godavari” is set in the Godavai delta region of Andhra Pradesh. The film has Neha Sshetty as the heroine. Anjali plays a significant role.
Yuvan Shankar Raja composed the soundtrack for the action drama, directed by Krishna Chaitanya. The film is being produced by Sithara Entertainments.
