The reunion of Kamal Haasan and Rajinikanth after 47 years has finally materialised, with the first glimpse of their upcoming film with the name “Glimpse of KH x RK Reunion” now out. The project will be directed by Nelson Dilipkumar, with music composed by Anirudh Ravichander.
The glimpse has received an enthusiastic response from fans and film lovers. Many appreciated Nelson for presenting the two acting legends in an engaging manner, blending retro nostalgia with a contemporary style. Anirudh’s background score adds solid elevation to the visuals.
Notably, Nelson steered clear of the routine bloodshed and hyper-violent treatment often seen in pan-Indian big-budget teasers. Instead, he chose to portray both senior stars in a stylish and cool avatar.
However, the only drawback in the promo is the inclusion of scantily clad women cleaning cars in a garage setting and ogling at the veteran actors. This is a formulaic and somewhat cringe-inducing element that feels unnecessary.
The film is set to go on floors soon. Glimpse videos were released in both Tamil and Telugu.
