“RRR,” Rajamouli’s mega epic action drama, has made history. It is the first Telugu film to receive Golden Globe nominations. The awards are the most prestigious and are regarded as a precursor to the Oscars.
“RRR” is now in the running for Best Picture ( Non-English Language). Rajamouli’s “RRR” was nominated alongside four other international films: “All Quiet on the Western Front,” “Argentina, 1985,” “Close,” and “Decision to Leave.”
“Naatu Naatu” song, composed by MM Keeravani for the film, was also nominated in the category for Original song (Motion Picture).
The chances of “RRR” winning an Academy Award have improved.
