Our sources say he quoted between Rs 125 and Rs 140 crore for the film’s theatrical distribution rights in the two states. This is a record sum for an NTR solo move. We must wait and see what price range the deal will be closed at. The production team is reportedly expecting more.

“Devara” will do a lot of theatrical business in other languages as well, including Hindi since NTR became a pan-Indian star with “RRR” and he is also debuting in Bollywood soon. As a result, the overall theatrical business will be massive. The film’s OTT rights were already snapped up by Netflix for a substantial amount.

Koratala Siva’s film “Devara” is an action drama set on India’s forgotten islands. Janhvi Kapoor makes her Tollywood debut in this film, where she plays Thangam.

The shooting has yet to be completed. The team intends to release the film in October.

The music is provided by Anirudh Ravichander. Sudhakar and Harikrishna are producing the film.
