Irumudi: GV Prakash opens up about Ekkinadu Pallaki remix

Ravi Teja for the first time in his career acting a devotee. He plays Lord Ayyappa Swamy devotee in a film named “Irumudi”, directed by Shiva Nirvana. “Irumudi” is a sacred, hand-woven bag carried on the head by Ayyappa devotees during their Sabarimala pilgrimage. From the title itself, it tells us that the film revolves around Ayyappa Swamy.

The film has music by GV Prakash Kumar.

GV Prakash, who was in Hyderabad for the trailer launch of “Happy Raj”, spoke about the buzz surrounding the remix of the iconic devotional track “Ekkinadu Pallaki”, a song associated with Lord Ayyappa. He revealed that there have been multiple requests to remix the song, but clarified that the final decision rests with the director and producers.

Priya Bhavani Shankar stars as the female lead in the film, which is being produced by Mythri Movie Makers. The shooting is currently progressing, and the makers are expected to reveal more details, including the first look and release plans, in the coming weeks.
