Nag Ashwin rose to prominence with only three films. The director will have to begin the second part of his enormous blockbuster, Kalki 2898 AD.
Released in theaters in 2024, the sci-fi picture concluded with a lead to the second installment. However, filming on the second portion will not begin for another year or so due to Prabhas’ unavailability.
Prabhas, who played the lead in “Kalki 2898 AD,” will begin shooting his next feature, “Spirit,” in May. He will be occupied with “Spirit” and director Hanu Raghavapudi’s “Fuaji” till the summer of 2026. As a result, Prabhas has postponed the filming of the second installment of “Kalki”.
Meanwhile, Nag Ashwin reportedly pitched a script idea to Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt, who agreed to star in it. According to the most recent rumors, Nag Ashwin has nearly finished the final draft of the script.
There is a possibility that he would begin this project with Alia Bhatt soon and finish it before Prabhas offers him time and dates.
