In the upcoming summer of 2024, there will be minimal competition for the scheduled movies due to the postponement of big films such as “Devara”. Prabhas’s “Kalki 2898 AD” is currently seeking a revised date.
The sole noteworthy film featuring a leading star in April is “Family Star”. At the onset of the summer season, the film featuring Vijay Deverakonda and Mrunal Thakur is set to be released (April 5).
Given the absence of any competing films, the present moment presents an opportune time for Vijay Deverakonda to deliver a blockbuster.
Typically, films do not receive such unrestricted release during the summer holiday season. Due to a multitude of factors, the current summer season is devoid of significant releases. Vijay Deverakonda achieved a moderate level of success with his film “Kushi” last year, but it has been a long time since he achieved a major commercial blockbuster.
The combination of director Parasuram Petla and Vijay Deverakonda was highly successful. Their previous film together “Geetha Govindam” was a huge blockbuster. The expectations are more now. The sole issue with this film is the lack of catchy songs. The songs of “Kushi” gained widespread popularity prior to their release but same cannot be said for “Family Star.”
On the other hand, the theatrical trailer for the film is scheduled to be released on the 28th of March.
