NTR Jr or lovingly called Tarak, has come a long way in his filmy career. His iconic film Bala Ramayanam released 25 years ago, on this day.

Directed by Gunasekhar this film had only child artists as stars. When NTR Jr played the role of Rama, classical dancer Smitha Madhav essayed the role of Sita. There were around 3000 child artists in this film.
The film carved a niche in Indian cinema and won many awards apart from the National award for the Best Children film. This film released on 11th April 1997.
Jr NTR has come a long way. His recent release RRR is doing well at the box office. As an actor he has risen and given some very good films in his career. NTR has now attained the pan-India craze.
