We have reported that Bollywood actress Kriti Sanon would be pairing up with Prabhas in ‘Adipurush’. The official statement is here. Director Om Raut took to social media to announce her name. He also shared photos of Prabhas and Kriti Sanon posing together.

It is believed that Kriti Sanon will essay the role of Sita, while Prabhas will appear as Lord Rama in this epic drama based on Ramayana. Sunny Singh must be playing Lakshman. Saif Ali Khan has been cast in the role of antagonist Lankesh (Raavana).
The shoot of ‘Adipurush’ has been progressing in Mumbai in specially created green-mat studios. The film is being captured with motion capture technology.
T Series is bankrolling the film.
Kriti Sanon made her acting debut in Telugu opposite Mahesh Babu in ‘1 Nenokkadine’ but she later shifted to Bollywood and made it to the top league of actresses there. This is her second pairing with a Telugu top star.
‘Adipurush’ is more of a Bollywood movie. It will be simultaneously shot in Hindi and Telugu.
