It has been confirmed that Nandamuri Balakrishna’s ‘Veera Simha Reddy’ will be the first film to be released during the Sankranthi 2023 season. The film’s release date was announced today by the producers. It will be released in theatres worldwide on January 12, 2023.
“This Sankranthi gets MASSive with the arrival of the GOD OF MASSES. #VeeraSimhaReddy Grand Worldwide Release on 12th January, 2023,” tweeted Mythri Movie Makers, the production house.
Balakrishna is betting big on this film because several of his festival releases have been blockbusters.
Shruti Haasan plays the lead role. The ensemble cast includes Duniya Vijay and Varalaxmi Sarathkumar. Music has been provided by S Thaman.
The film is produced by Naveen Yerneni and Y Ravi Shankar. ‘Veera Simha Reddy,’ described as an action drama, is set in Rayalaseema. Balakrishna will play two characters.
