Jagapathi Babu has emerged as a popular choice among top directors. He is one of South India’s most famous characters or villains. However, he has recently seen a drop in film offers as Tollywood filmmakers seek Bollywood top actors for villain roles. Such roles are being offered to actors like Sanjay Dutt and Saif Ali Khan.
Fortunately for him, the handsome actor has noticed a new trend. Three major directors have approached him and cast him in key roles in their films.
Prashanth Neel offered him a negative role in Salaar, a pan-Indian movie. The shoot was completed. He also has a significant role in Mahesh Babu and Trivikram’s untitled film (SSMB28).
In “Pushpa 2,” director Sukumar has created a special role for Jagapathi Babu.
According to Jagapathi Babu, all of these directors created roles with him in mind. Despite Bollywood actors snatching important roles in South Indian blockbusters, he has now become a must-see for big-budget films.
