Janhvi as Gunjan Saxena; film to release on Netflix

Sridevi’s daughter Janhvi Kapoor has essayed the role of Gunjan Saxena, the Lieutenant who made history as the first Indian woman in combat during the Kargil war. The inspiring story has now become a film and Janhvi will be seen as Kargil Girl.

Streaming giant Netflix today announced that the film release on its platform very soon. 

“This is the inspiring tale of a simple girl who went to remarkable lengths to achieve her dreams,” said the makers. This is the second release for Janhvi on the OTT platform after ‘Ghost Stories’
