Janhvi Kapoor on working hours and comfort on sets

Discussions about long working hours in the film industry are nothing new. However, actress Janhvi Kapoor has only positive things to say about the work culture in the Telugu film industry and Hyderabad.

Having worked in two Telugu films, “Devara” and “Peddi”, both largely shot in Hyderabad, Janhvi said Tollywood gives considerable importance to working hours and the comfort of artists and technicians on set.

With “Peddi” gearing up for release on June 4, Janhvi shared her experience during promotional interviews.

“The work culture in Tollywood is superb. Here, they give a lot of importance to working hours. During lunch breaks, everyone takes proper rest and then returns to work with renewed energy. As far as I am concerned, I have never worked for more than nine hours a day,” she said.

According to the actress, she never had to work beyond nine hours during the shooting of either “Devara” or “Peddi”, making her experience in Telugu cinema particularly pleasant.
