Jr NTR faults Jagan’s decision of renaming NTR Health varsity

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy decided to rechristen the Health University after his father and the late Chief Minister Dr. YS Rajasekhara Reddy, replacing NTR’s name. His decision created controversy.

NTR’s grandson Jr NTR, too, responded on this issue.

Posting his opinion on Twitter, which is in Telugu, he said the government’s act doesn’t elevate the image of YSR. By stating that both YSR and NTR were stalwarts, he mentioned that no one could erase the memory of NTR from the minds of Telugu people.

The summary of his tweet reads: “By taking down one’s name and naming another does not raise the stature of YSR, nor does it lower the stature of NTR. By removing the name of NTR from the health university, no one can erase the fame he earned, his place in the history of Telugu people, or his memories among the hearts of the Telugu masses.”

On the work front, NTR Jr has a film in the direction of Koratala Siva. The untitled film will hit the floors in November.
