Kamal Haasan, who recently undergone surgery at a private hospital in Chennai, is recovering well, his daughters Shruti and Akshara Haasan said. In a statement released, the Haasan daughters said he returns home in four-five days.
The surgery was performed on Tuesday morning at Sri Ramachandra Hospital in Chennai by orthopedic surgeon DrMohan Kumar along with DR.JSN Murthy.
“Our father is doing well, is in good spirits, and working toward a speedy recovery,” the statement read.
He has undergone surgery as he faced complications in his leg that he suffered a fall in his office in 2016. Doctors back then placed an implant in his leg. The implant was removed last year, but he faced some problems while walking recently.
