The musical promotion for actor-director Srinivas Avasarala’s next film, “Phalana Abbayi Phalana Ammayi” (PAPA), starring Naga Shaurya and Malavika Nair, has begun. The first song from the film, “Kanula Chatu Meghama,” is now available.
The song, composed by Kalyani Malki, is known as a breakup ghazal. The song, sung by Aabhas Joshi and written by Lakshmi Bhupal, begins, ‘Kanula chaatu meghamaa… Kaastha aagumaa… Needatho Venuka Raani. Raayabaaramaa… “Masaka masaka thaini gnaapakaalalo.”
Through his impressive composition, Kalyani Malik captures the couple’s delicate emotions. “Kanula Chatu Meghama is one of my many favourite songs in this film, and I cherish it,” composer Kalyani Malik said.
“I’ve rarely been this proud of something in my films,” Avasarala said.
PAPA, produced by People Media Factory in collaboration with Dasari Films, is set to be released on March 17.
