Karthikeya 2 takes a flying start at the box office

The new releases in August have finally ended the bad phase at the box office. ‘Sita Ramam’ and ‘Bimbisara’ have become hits. This weekend, Nikhil Siddharth’s ‘Karthikeya 2’ took a flying start at the box office.

Critics called it a decent thriller. The audience is showing interest. It picked up collections from the matinee shows. ‘Karthikeya 2’ will have a bumper crop of collections on Sunday as well.

Directed by Chandoo Mondeti, ‘Karthikeya 2’ is a mystery thriller along the lines of ‘The Da Vinci Code’. The grand production values and the final moments have worked in its favor.

The collections in the USA are also encouraging.
