Keerthy Suresh who won the national award for her exceptional performance in ‘Mahanati’ is no stranger to woman-centric films. Films such as ‘Miss India’, ‘Penguin’ and ‘Good Luck Sakhi’ are in the kitty. Currently busy working with Mahesh Babu in ‘Sarkaru Vaari Paata’, the actress has received another lady-oriented film.
A production company approached her to do the remake of the Bollywood hit ‘Mimi’, which starred Kriti Sanon in the titular character. Keerthy, if she agrees, might reprise her role in the Telugu and Tamil remake versions.
There is no official confirmation, though.
‘Mimi’ recently premiered on an OTT platform and won good reviews. The film was appreciated by the audiences. It deals with the subject of surrogacy.
Keerthy Suresh recently signed to play as sister to megastar Chiranjeevi in director Meher Ramesh’s ‘Bholaa Shankar’, which will start rolling later this year.
