‘KGF 2’ has announced its new release date. The makers of ‘KGF Chapter’ have locked April 14, 2022, as the new date for the movie’s theatrical release. It was to hit the screens in July this year.
The North Indian market has not fully recovered from the COVID-19 crisis yet. Trade pundits opine that the best time for the big projects to hit the theaters is 2022. Hence, the makers ‘KGF 2’ have pushed the movie.
“The uncertainties of today will only delay our resolve, but the eventuality is as promised. We will be out in theaters on April 14th 2022,” Hombale Films, the production house behind this mammoth project, posted on social media.
Starring Kannada star Yash as the lead hero, ‘KGF 2’ is directed by Prashanth Neel.
‘KGF Chapter 2’ has been shot lavishly with a high budget. The film will be released in Kannada, Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, and Malayalam languages simultaneously. Along with Rajamouli’s ‘RRR’, this film are expected to redefine the Indian box-office post-pandemic era.
