‘KGF’ was a smash hit. It was the first pan-Indian blockbuster from the Kannada cinema industry. Starring Yash as the lead hero, ‘KGF’ raised the bar for commercial movie-making. The story and sequences were formulaic, but the narration and the larger-than-life experiences made the film such a craze among the moviegoers. Much ahead of the announced time and date, the teaser suddenly got dropped on YouTube on Thursday night. The teaser was scheduled to release on Friday (January 8, 2021) on the occasion of Yash’s birthday, but the makers offered a premiere watch for the fans.
Directed by Prashanth Neel, the teaser is now trending on YouTube.
The teaser has lived up to the expectations. The lavish visuals, rousing background score, the canvas, and the final shot of Yash firing the machine gun have made the teaser a paisa vasool.
Produced by Hombale Films, ‘KGF Chapter 2’ has Sanjay Dutt in the role of Adhira. Srinidhi Shetty, Raveena Tandon, Prakash Raj, Malvika Avinash, Achyuth Kumar, Ayyappa P. Sharma, Rao Ramesh, and Eshwari Rao play in other important roles.
