The teaser of the much-awaited ‘KGF Chapter 2’, sequel to the blockbuster ‘KGF’, exceeded all the expectations and created a storm on YouTube. The teaser rolled out on January 7th night, and it gained about 70 million views in 24 hours.
Not just views, it even astonished everyone by receiving four million-plus ‘likes’. The film has broken all existing records for a South Indian film on YouTube to date in terms of views and likes.
‘KGF Chapter 2’ teaser has set the bar high for other movies to break it.
Starring Yash as the lead hero, the film is directed by Prashanth Neel and produced by Hombale Movies. The dialogue – “powerful people make places powerful” – has struck a chord with the fans.
Yash, in an interview, said the film is mounted on a lavish scale in all aspects. “KGF Chapter 1 was an introduction to Rocky, his personality, his world, and his hunger to overcome his demons. In KGF 2, you will see some different shades of Rocky that you haven’t seen before. It will be a bigger action-packed and emotional ride,” he mentioned.
