Kiara Advani confident Toxic will release this year despite delay rumors

Kiara Advani remains optimistic about her pan-Indian biggie, “Toxic”, despite the film witnessing multiple postponements. While the team, including lead star Yash, has remained tight-lipped about the new release date, Kiara has consistently expressed confidence about the project in her interviews.
In a recent interaction with fans on social media, a fan asked her about the release plans of “Toxic.” Responding to the query, Kiara said the film will arrive soon.
“Fingers crossed. I hope we will get clarity in the coming days. It will happen soon,” she told the fan.
This will be Kiara Advani’s first release since embracing motherhood. She and her actor-husband, Siddharth Malhotra, welcomed their first child, a daughter, last year. While she is looking forward to signing new projects in this new phase of her life, she appears particularly excited about the release of “Toxic,” directed by Geethu Mohandas.
A period drama set in Goa, “Toxic” reportedly features Yash in a dual role, with Kiara Advani playing Nadia, the film’s primary female lead. The movie also stars Nayanthara, Rukmini Vasanth, Huma Qureshi, and Tara Sutaria in key roles.
There have been persistent rumors that the film may not make it to theaters this year due to Yash’s reported plans to reshoot major portions. However, Kiara Advani continues to insist that “Toxic” will arrive in cinemas this year.
