Kriti Sanon recently scored success and popularity with the recently Hindi release, ‘Mimi’, which was a heroine-oriented drama. The film was premiered on Netflix. Kriti, who mostly paired with young actors, did a big movie opposite a top star like Akshay Kumar, but the movie failed to set the screens on fire.
We are talking about ‘Bachchhan Paandey’. The film was released in theaters last weekend. But with ‘The Kashmir Files’ creating a rampage at the theaters, the Akshay Kumar and Kriti Sanon starrer ‘Bachchhan Paandey’ failed to attract the audiences. It turned out to be a disappointment for the actress.
Interestingly, the film is the remake of the Tamil movie, Jigarthanda. The Tamil movie was a huge hit. The Telugu remake ‘Gaddhalakonda Ganesh’ was also a super hit. But the Hindi version could not attract the audience.
Kriti Sanon will next be seen in ‘Adipurush’, opposite Prabhas.
