Krithi Shetty scores two flops back-to-back

Krithi Shetty shot to fame in no time. Within the weeks of the release of her debut vehicle, Krithi Shetty bagged four films. Her rise is meteoric. And now, she is also seeing flops in quick succession.

Last month, she scored a flop with Ram Pothineni’s ‘The Warriorr’, a mass action drama. It was the first flop in her career after scoring three successes in a row – Uppena, Shyam Singha Roy, and Bangarraju.

Now, she scored another big dud. ‘Macherla Niyojakavargam’, which is again a formulaic mass actioner, sank without a trace. The film was released on August 12. She played opposite Nithiin. The film could not survive the first weekend.

Krithi Shetty proved her mettle in dance in these two films, but none of them helped her career. She will be pinning her hopes on ‘Aa Ammayi Gurinchi Meeku Cheppali’, directed by Indraganit Mohan Krishna, which hits the theaters next month.
