A month before the theatrical release, the makers today unveiled the trailer of ‘Liger’ at an event in Hyderabad. The film has already created a huge buzz with teasers, posters, and other promotional material, and now the trailer is out, further raising the expectations.
The trailer introduces Vijay Deverakonda as an angry young man. “My son is a crossbreed, born to a lion and a tiger,” Ramya Krishna, who plays Vijay Deverakonda’s mother, proclaims.
It’s the bumpy journey of a chaiwala, his efforts to represent India and win the MMA title, with many obstacles in the progression.
‘Liger (Saala Crossbreed)’ starring Vijay Deverakonda as a boxer is the most-anticipated film of this year. The film marks the first combination of Puri Jagannadh and Vijay Deverakonda. Boxing legend Mike Tyson making his Indian screen debut is another attraction of the movie.
The trailer ends with Mike Tyson’s dialogue: “If you’re a fighter, what am I?”
Ananya Pandey has paired up with Vijay Deverakonda. Puri Jagannadh, Charmme Kaur, Karan Johar, and Apoorva Mehta are the producer. Thailand stunt master Kecha has handled all the action choreography.
‘Liger’ will have Pan India release in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam languages on 25th August.
