“Rao Bahadur”, starring Satyadev and directed by Venkatesh Maha, continues to receive appreciation following its theatrical release on July 3. Actor Akkineni Naga Chaitanya recently watched the film and later met the cast and crew to congratulate them on its success.
Sharing his thoughts, Naga Chaitanya described “Rao Bahadur” as one of the most original Telugu films he has seen in recent years.
“It takes immense courage to make a film like this. Every actor would feel a twinge of envy for not getting a role like the one Satyadev played. He has delivered a remarkable performance,” he said.
Naga Chaitanya also noted that Telugu cinema now has a content-driven film comparable to the acclaimed works often associated with Malayalam and Kannada cinema.
Urging audiences to watch the film on the big screen, he said, “Rather than depending on reviews or word of mouth, people should experience this film in theatres. Films like this are rare. There is no reference point for it, and it has been made without following commercial formulas.”
