Sekhar Kammula’s Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi starrer ‘Love Story’ is benefitting the same.
Although Kammula, Chaitanya, and Sai Pallavi are popular figures and their names are enough to pull the audiences to the theaters, the recent viral song ‘Sarnaga Dariya’ has come as a blessing. ‘Love Story’ has suddenly become red hot among the trade circles and the buyers paid huge money to bag the movie’s rights after this song became viral.
Rs 30 crore business?
According to trade pundits, the film has already closed the business in all areas in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. It reportedly has done close to Rs 30 crore theatrical business (pre-release) in Telugu states, which is a record in Naga Chaitanya’s career.
The makers might get nearly Rs 20 crore additionally from satellite, Hindi, digital and overseas rights.
‘Love Story’ is set for release on April 16. The film has music by newcomer Pawan CH. Sekhar Kammula is also a partner in this film.
