Megastar Chiranjeevi starrer ‘Godfather’ hit the floors recently. Directed by Mohan Raja, the action thriller requires many popular actors to essay key roles. Nayanathara has long back signed the project. Hero Satyadev is also doing an important role. Now, Madhavan has been roped in. The film is a remake of the Malayalam hit, Lucifer.
‘Lucifer’ had a huge ensemble cast including Mohanlal, Vivek Oberoi, Manju Warrior, Tovino Thomas, Indrajith Sukumaran, and Prithviraj Sukumaran. The remake version also needs such big names to essay these roles.
Megastar Chiranjeevi convinced Bollywood superstar Salman Khan to reprise the role of Prithviraj Sukumaran. It is a big casting coup. Now, Madhavan will reprise Vivek Oberoi’s character.
Madhavan has played negative roles in Telugu films such as ‘Nishabdham’ and ‘Savyasachi’.
Produced by ‘Godfather’, the film also has Anasuya Bharadwaj in a key role. The heroine for Chiranjeevi has not yet been finalized.
