Mahesh Babu attended an event for the mobile store Big C. He was asked about release status of his current film “Guntur Kaaram” at the event.
Mahesh Babu has stated unequivocally that the film will be released on Sankranthi 2024, as previously announced.
“Sankranthiki Vastundi… Mee Andaru Chaala Anandamga Untaru. (The film will definitely release for Sankranthi festival and it will definitely entertain you all),” he said.
Mahesh Babu also commented on the social media debate about his frequent foreign trips. “Whenever my kids have holidays or time off, we like to go on vacation,” he said. He also inquired whether the media is envious of his tours or enjoying his vacation photos on Instagram.
“Guntur Kaaram” was announced last year and began regular production early this year, but the film experienced numerous delays, leading to speculation about its release date. However, Mahesh Babu clarified the situation and reiterated that the film will hit the theaters on Jan 12, 2024.
“Guntur Kaaram” is directed by Trivikram Srinivas and produced by S Radha Krishna S. Sreeleela and Meenakshii Chaudhary are the heroines.
