Mahesh Babu was earlier approached to play Ram Charan’s role in ‘Acharya’. Koratala Siva narrated the story and asked Mahesh Babu to play the extended guest role.
Mahesh Babu agreed to do the role. But at the last moment, the role went to Ram Charan. Probably the makers thought it would be best to see Charan and Chiru on screen.
Nevertheless, given his friendship with Koratala Siva and his respect towards Chiranjeevi, actor Mahesh babu has now turned into the narrator of the film.
His voice will be heard in the film narrating key incidents. ‘Acharya’ is slated to hit the theaters on April 29.
