Mahesh, NTR, Prabhas, and Ram Charan in the summer 2023 race

The summer of 2023 is going to be a long festival period for Telugu film lovers. Prabhas, Mahesh Babu, Pawan Kalyan, NTR, and Ram Charan will be releasing their new films during the summer holidays next year.

Take a look at the films that have confirmed their slot for the summer of 2023.

RC15

The untitled film in the combination of director Shankar and Ram Charan is currently being referred to as #RC15 aka Ram Charan’s 15th film. The film is progressing briskly. Touted to be a social drama about the government system, Ram Charan plays an IAS officer. The film is expected to be wrapped up by October. But producer Dil Raju is looking for a date in April for its release as it is a pan-Indian project and needs a long holiday period. 

The film is made with a whopping Rs 350 crore. It will be released in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada languages simultaneously.

SSMB28

The makers of Mahesh Babu and Trivikram’s film have officially confirmed that the film would the theaters in 2023 summer. The regular shoot begins next month. Touted to be an action drama with family elements, it has Pooja Hegde and Radha Krishna bankrolling.

The film has Thaman as the music director. The budget is about Rs 250 crore.

NTR30

Director Koratala Siva will not be wasting much time on his next film. He has a target to wrap #NTR30 (NTR’s untitled 30th film) in 7 or 8 months. The regular shoot will begin in September. It might make it to the theaters in May 2023.

The film will also be made for a pan-Indian audience. It will be released in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam.

Salaar?

Director Prashanth Neel and Prabhas’s combination is the most-anticipated one. After the stupendous success of ‘KGF 2’, Prashanth Neel’s ‘Salaar’ has gained a tremendous craze. The makers have decided to release it in two parts.

If the production gets completed by January or March, the first part of ‘Salaar’ would make it to the theaters in the 2023 summer or would move to the second half of 2023.
