Veteran actor Mohan Babu has lodged a police case against his son, actor Manchu Manoj, and daughter-in-law Monika, claiming threats to his life and requesting police protection. Conversely, Manoj has lodged a complaint, claiming that unidentified intruders attacked him at his house.
Manoj lodged a complaint with the Rachakonda police commissioner saying that his brother, actor Vishnu Manchu, relocated to Dubai for reasons best known to him and it was after his father Mohan Babu’s approval that he moved into Jalapalli House, near Pahadi Shareef Dargah in Hyderabad.
But Mohan Babu, in his police complaint, mentioned that Manoj and his wife Mounika moved into this house with the intention to register it in their name without his approval. Mohan Babu also stated that his son Manoj and daughter-in-law Mounika pose a threat to his life.
The family dispute became public when official complaints were made against each other.
All about properties and assets
Insiders say Mohan Babu already shared his properties with all his three children – Manchu Vishnu, Manoj, and Lakshmi Prasanna. However, Vishnu reportedly received the largest share, which included the highly profitable Sree Vidyanikethan institutes in Tirupathi.
Lakshmi Manchu, who inherited a house in Filmnagar in Hyderabad, recently relocated to Mumbai due to this ongoing property dispute, while Manoj, after marrying politician Mounika, moved into Jalapalli’s home. The entire fight is for a share of assets and properties, the sources added.
