Manchu Manoj has grabbed attention with a powerful social media update, revealing his intense physical transformation for his upcoming films, particularly “David Reddy.” Sharing workout pictures, Manoj said he has spent the last three weeks pushing himself beyond comfort, cutting out excuses and focusing purely on discipline.
In his post, Manoj noted that action cinema demands real effort, as the camera cannot hide weaknesses. He said he is no longer training just for looks but to build endurance and resilience, preparing his body to perform demanding stunts without shortcuts. Calling it “Week 3” of his transformation, the actor added that the journey has just begun but he already feels like a different person.
Manoj recently impressed audiences with his comeback performance in “Mirai,” where he played the intense antagonist Mahabir Lama, also known as “Black Sword.” The film performed well and his role received appreciation.
He is now gearing up for “David Reddy,” a large-scale pan-India period action drama directed by Hanuma Reddy Yakkanti. Set during the British colonial period between 1897 and 1920, the film follows a warrior who rises against oppression. The recently released glimpse has already crossed 10 million digital views, generating strong buzz around the project.
With “David Reddy” and several other films in the pipeline, Manoj appears to be entering a busy new phase in his career.
